Frequently Asked Questions

Calcium Fluoride is a natural occurrence which is like any other minerals found in water. Sodium Fluoride is man-made and is what’s added to your toothpaste. Our water only contains natural calcium fluoride.

The Shepley Spring source is located in Shepley, a picturesque village close to the Peak District National Park.

Our water source has a high mineral content. This will precipitate if the water is either boiled or frozen and can leave residue.

Once the water is taken from the ground and exposed to air and light, it can then start to lose its freshness.

Our bottles are made of PET which is microporous and allows air into the bottles. We therefore put a Best Before End code on every bottle.

Our PET bottles and the HDPE caps are all recyclable.

We use 30% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) in our bottles.

By recycling our bottles, they can turn into a new bottle, a pair of jeans or even a playset!

We do not use BPA in any of our products. All of our bottles are produced using PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic and High-Density polyethylene (HDPE) caps. These are food-grade plastics that are approved by the US FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for their use in many types of food containers.

We have designated charities and events that we support and donate over 200,000 bottles per year.
